Draw From the Holster

This is an advanced course and applies to only serious-minded shooters.

This course includes Range and Gun Safety, Storage and Types of Holsters.

Safe Holster Draw Techniques

The student must demonstrate being able to safely draw, safe dry-fire draw and safe re-holster proficiency before live-fire qualification.

Drawing from Concealment

Holster and Purse, Basic Defensive Handgun Shooting Positions,

Emergency Reloads and Malfunctions

Course of Fire: 50 Rounds

At 3 yards you are instructed to lock, load and re-holster, draw and fire 5 rounds and re-holster, repeat a second time, show clear and re-holster.

You will do the same at the following yardage 5, 7, 10, 15 yards.

Show clear and re-holster.

You must score at least 80 percent to pass.

At the same time prove you are safe at handling firearms.

Pricing and Location

Initial qualifications as well as re-qualifications are offered for $125. Refresher courses are advised. Sessions are held at a private range in Hamburg, NJ. Please submit an inquiry for further information.

This will give you access to their draw from the holster area as long as your credentials are active. Anyone not currently certified who certifies with me will also be granted access to this area. Range fees still apply.
